Healthcare platform engineering
Operational software for care, billing and clinical workflows — built with regulated environments in mind.
- Clinical workflows
- RCM / EDI
- HL7 / FHIR
- Django
- MongoDB
- Redis
- Transcribe / Deepgram
- RBAC
Our engineers have delivered enterprise healthcare platforms in the US: clinical workflows, EHR integration, claims and billing, with HIPAA-aware architecture. One reference engagement — prior senior engineering on a confidential multi-practice platform still in production — is documented as capability proof (text-only; not an AEK product; no client screens).
We do not invent NHS partnerships we do not have. What we do bring is the same discipline for UK care, health-tech and NHS-adjacent programmes that need careful access control, auditability and integration design.
Problems we solve
- Clinical or admin workflows still depend on paper and inboxes
- Integrations with EHR/EMR systems are fragile
- Billing and claims logic is hard to change safely
- Security and privacy requirements are unclear in the build plan
What we deliver
- Workflow design for clinical and administrative teams
- API integrations with existing health systems
- Role-based access and audit logging
- Document and claims-related automation where appropriate
- HIPAA-aware / GDPR-aware architecture patterns (not certification claims)
See it in practice
Clinical ops and revenue cycle on a practice-scoped Django/Mongo stack — prior senior engineering on a confidential platform in production across multiple practices. Capability proof for AEK Tech; not an AEK product. No client screens.

Common questions
Are you NHS-approved or HIPAA certified?
We do not claim NHS endorsement or HIPAA certification. We build with HIPAA-aware and GDPR-aware patterns based on delivery experience. Formal certification is a separate organisational process.
Discuss a healthcare build
Describe the workflow and systems involved. We will say what we can take on and what we would leave alone.
